LA TERRASSE RESTAURANT menu
After arriving in Senegal a few months ago and soaking up the local flavours, Chef Anthoy Jéhannonow lets his cuisine express itself through the menu of the resort’s emblematic brasserie, the restaurant La Terrasse .
Since the Food Pop-Up event, the menu has featured a number of new items, including starters, main courses and desserts. There are also more elaborate side dishes, such as candied carrots, baba ghanoush and wok of jollof rice.
While keeping La Terrasse’s distinctive identity, the Chef fine-tunes tastes with new combinations, a more refined selection of products and a sharp eye for detail. Precision on sauces and cooking brings a lot in the mouth.
As for dessert, generosity, delicacy and finesse are the watchwords. There is something for every palate. The traditional moelleux is adorned with a touch of praline that makes all the difference. New flavors of ice creams and sorbet are explored – cocoa-raz el hanout, pecan, bissap-ginger or lemon-yogurt –let yourself be tempted by the airiness of the fruit cloud… You will need several visits to try it all !
The menu at La Terrasse, and more broadly the place itself, invites conviviality and discovery in the family spirit with a cuisine both fine and uncomplicated. Everything can be combined and shared.
