In the pleasant coolness of the vast shaded terrace, admire the exceptional panorama against the backdrop of the Îles de la Madeleine. Enjoy it with your family, as a couple, with friends or for a business lunch during the week.
From 12.00 to 23.30, 7 days a week, La Terrasse is the place to be for fine cuisine and relaxation.
A cuisine of local products from land and sea
Discover the menu of La Terrasse comfortably seated under the spacious wooden pergola, with palm trees all around to remind you of the proximity of nature. The menu features cuisine with a Senegalese flavour that will take you on a voyage of discovery.
All our recipes are made from raw ingredients processed in our workshops. All our breads, desserts and ice creams are prepared on site. We're proud of our expertise, and of offering you home-cooked food that combines quality and traceability.
Cuisine
Right on the water, the restaurant La Terrasse is a natural choice for seafood, with fish, shellfish and crustaceans all freshly caught. Depending on the catch, opt for a fillet of grouper, grilled octopus or cuttlefish. Not forgetting the exceptional meat of a lobster or prawn.
The Chef's secret: to offer you the very best, and as part of our eco-responsible approach, we have planted an aromatic herb garden. Thyme, rosemary, coriander and many others are grown on site and carefully picked by the brasserie's chefs.
All these products, cooked over a wood fire, grilled, raw, marinated, in a dish to share like the traditional thiéboudienne, seasoned with Senegalese condiments and typical sauces, delight young and old alike.

In a warm and lively atmosphere, you surrender to the moment, savoring each bite as you take in the ocean view. A feast awaits—sweet and savory treats, sizzling grills, hot and cold dishes—inviting you to follow your curiosity and explore new flavors.
To enhance the experience, local artists set the rhythm with a diverse musical lineup, from jazz to Afro-folk and salsa. You might hear the soulful voices of Rema Diop or Xiirsa, or enjoy the energy of bands like Jigueen Ni.
Every Sunday, this brunch becomes a cherished tradition, bringing together Dakar’s families and Terrou-Bi’s guests in a shared moment of joy and indulgence.
