DIAMONO
HI-FI COCKTAIL BAR
Like a well-kept secret in the heart of Dakar, Le Diamono welcomes you to a singular universe inspired by Kissa - the Japanese listening bar. Here, mixology expresses itself to the rhythm of music and its influences, creating a place of complete sensory experience where every note is a caress for the soul.

SIGNATURE MIXOLOGY
In a retro-chic ambience, Diamono unveils a selection of a dozen cocktails - with and without alcohol - with a distinctive character. African spices, surprising ingredients, perfect flavor combinations: the art of mixology invites us to explore new horizons.
The menu also features Boilermakers, a refined combination of a craft beer brewed in Senegal and a shot with more original and unexpected combinations. A meticulous selection of wines and spirits, including grands crus and signature bottles, can be found exclusively in the bar. To accompany the experience, sample gourmet bites such as Chef Anthony Jehanno's Akara trio or petit jardin.
Sitting at the counter, you'll sense the subtle symbiosis between bartenders and vinyls that keep time. The audiophile bar also boasts a spacious, cosy terrace overlooking the marina, offering the ocean as far as the eye can see to enjoy an exceptional cigar or simply revel in the moment.

MUSICAL HAVEN OF PEACE
In this age of dematerialized music, this musical haven of peace invites you to the spectacle of true mixology artists, imagining compositions to be savored to the rhythms of soul, jazz, afro-funk, reggae or RnB, drawn from the house's extraordinary collection of rare vinyls.
Equipped with a speaker system from the famous English brand Harbeth, as a guarantee of an immersive and authentic listening experience, and Japanese Rotel amplifiers that excel in frequency nuances, whether for deep bass, clear mids or precise highs, this Hi-Fi Bar is a temple where the vibrations of each note create an exhilarating symphony.
In Wolof, Diamono means “that which is current”, used to refer to an era, a time, a generation, as if to make its mark, this name instills a very contemporary spirit while remaining rooted in a strong cultural soil.
Diamono pays tribute to the continent's musical heritage. By revisiting the archives of the past, we discover that the connection between West Africa and Cuba dates back to centuries past, when African slaves taken to the Caribbean brought their musical traditions with them. These influences fused with local cultures, giving rise to iconic musical genres. Back in their homeland, these rhythms returned like distant echoes, enriching musical scenes and creating timeless cultural bridges.
It was in this vibrant melting pot that African music, as the ancestor of musical genres such as reggae, rap and house music, found fertile ground to develop around the world, blending its sounds with melodies to create a universal symphony.
